Lets them get outside for fresh air, without all the murdering of squirrels, birds and the like involved. It's a great idea.
I dont care about the murder of tiny animals. But I do care about fleas and especially ticks.
... O...kay, you got me there. I can't come up with a valid and sound argument in response to that.
Probably not going to get too many - they typically get picked up by brushing against vegetation & there isn't a blade of grass to be seen.
But cats need to eat grass to vomit furballs
Many cat owners have cat grass indoors.
I have a cat and I'm always contemplating whether it's crueler to keep her locked up or let her out to hunt and possibly get hurt.
Some places, and especially in cities, have laws saying cats must be indoor only. This is a good alternative to letting them roam!
And without FIV and FELV and cars running over them and so on. It’s better than nothing!
The ticks are sneaky little demons, my brother's dog has had a lot of them! Except it's an Australian cattle dog, they go everywhere!
It sucks when they get hurt, but the most serious injury for my two so far is when they got pissy with each other and bit each other's tails
Nothing outside has compared to that. They're great friends usually, so I guess playing got out of hand one day. The vet shaved their tails!
I had to give them antibiotics for two weeks running and dab iodine on the wounds twice a day. This happened IN our home.
They are not too hard to make with 2x4's and chicken wire. My cat loves hers.
Looks like a cat prison to me
Yep. It's a cinch to grow.
That's great! Do you have any plans by chance?
