Plot twist: his mom is actually a human and not an anthropomorphic feline.
Fuck you. I’m not crying. The pollen is so bad today.
Plot twist his mom was just at a furry convention.
And so another furry was born. Fuck.
This is making rain fall in front of my keyboard.
As an adult bearded man I always tear up at these reunions...
These never get old.
I dont know why I dont like these, I'm not a monster, I'm happy for them but I hate these videos.
That expression, that genuine love he showed when he saw her. And then ran to her...jeez...
Yeah its all too lovey dovey and sweet. Good for yall but i want to see fat people falling over and not getting up again. So i can laugh at
I normally only favorite tits, but this made me get all emotional and shit. Take your upvote and favorite.
I will never not cry at one of these.
"You've been gone so long mum" "lol yeah that convention got fucking weird. I mean! War is hell"
Still has a mom.
I hope shes home for good
Ahh! This is where I went to school! It’s nice to see good stuff from there.
If she's still deployed then now she's AWOL
[sniffs neck] "Mom have you been [deleted for imgur mod approval] again?"
I know it! That was a great moment.
You shut your lying trap!
I love the surprises but they got stale after a while. This brought me back and brought me back in tears. He even offered to share his food!
I'm just amazed at that perfect get up turn and hug/pick up timing she displayed
I would have climbed over the fraking table
I’m just straight up crying
never see marines doing that shit lol
for a very brief moment it looked like he was running away from her and that made me laugh before the feels hit.
I’m surprised he didn’t just jump the table. I would have
Dude it looks like snow here in Missouri.
and a lot was deployed into her furbox.
Great thanks, now I'm crying
War should never exist
I often wonder why some people have to qualify their manliness if they shed a tear.
Lol I finally got around to starting this series the other day and now I finally know the context of this gif
I don't understand why they can't do this privately, everything has to be done in front of everyone and a camera these days huh...
I work in a kindergarten and altough most of the kids are to young to miss their deployed parents (and believe me we have plenty of (1/3)
Idk seems to be the trend
them, there is this little boy that EVERY DAY talks about his dad and breaks my heart. We organized something like this (less creative) 2/3
And when the dad arrived he couldnt even breath. All he said was "I think @cangarejos is making al this shit up". and sir, yes, sir!
Shut up I'm not crying you're crying. I'm not crying you're crying
surprise: there are tons of military furries, several are commissioned officers.
I'm honestly suprised he didnt vault over the table
I’m surprised he didnt jump the table
It's real dusty and dry yeah.
I'd bet a lot that there's a hell of a lot of reunions that are done like that, don't shit on the family for wanting to make memories
Can't stop watching. Can't stop feeling. Dangit.
True love, he ain't embarrassed in the slightest
Mom you was our mascot the whole time!
Privacy having private family moments....ever heard of them? Doesn't always have to be an attention seeking thing. Cheapens the whole thing
If this had just ended at the moment he runs away...
Thought he was running away
You're not crying! I am!
Trying my best to not sound negative but those people don't have the right to film people's shit. Look at how many were recording
He’s a good kid.
That's when he learned his mom's a furry
That’s exactly what a monster would say.
insert "im not crying your crying" meme from parks and rec here
Being separated from parents sucks enough as a kid, i can't imagine growing up knowing they can be in real danger for their life.
That's great, but I keep imagining the kid saying, "WAIT RIGHT THERE, I'LL BE BACK!!!"
What's the series? Is it Helsing?
I wouldn't have run around the table. I'm surprised he didn't go over it.
I absolutely agree. But would add there are times when fighting is the necessary and right thing to do. Still, I'd rather never kill anyone.
half expected him to go over the table.
Surprise! Your mom's a fury!
True love is hugging your mom even after you find out she's a furry.
I mean, you've got to give credit to the marines when due.
They say deployments to combat zones change you but WOW!
Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood. Theres also one of lesser quality names fullmetal alchemist and I'm not sure which this scene belongs too
But it's an amazing anime. Brotherhood is must watch, other one you can skip or watch up to u
The ones I know from cons are terrified of their COs finding out where they were on the weekend.
Should clarify, the American ones I know. The Canadians and Germans I know do not give a fuck.
Thought that when he offered the cracker. Confirmed it with the run. Good kid.
and these are just the military furries you know? You must be pretty involved in that scene.
Brb, going to go hug my kids good night again.
You do not want to hug that suit...
Been to about a dozen or so conventions, sure.
I don’t see this as being attention seeking. I perceived it as a fun/funny/unique way to for her to surprise her son.
US Sonar Operator, 3 US Marines, 2 soldiers, and one person who tbh I dunno what they do in the military are all furry folks I know.
and while involved in the furry scene, I don't know anything about the US military and have no involvement in it. There are just a lot tbh.
Just climb over the table, JOSH!
Is a spray bottle part of their role playing?
Same. The tearing up part not the bearded man part.
This is brotherhood.
WHOA, I was just watching that episode of Gintama, small world..internet, maybe? I don’t know
wtf, that looks like gary the no trash cougar from family guy
dude on an october school trip for pumpkins, my mom volunteered and some girl sat nex to my mom and i panicked and cried. thats my mom
BeesKneesman is completely right. “Thank you fit my service” at its finest.
Surprise, son. Your mom's a furry.
I'm genuinely curious of what sort of attachment type do kids of deployed parents eventually develop.
Annnnnd I'm crying
"MOM!" it's funny when you can even see the o or u sound in the shape of the person's mouth depending on where they're from
She's a real cougar.
I just gotta say, I lose it every time one of these videos appear and because of that hate how much military action the US engaged in...
Simpsons Renaissance Faire episode. Lisa gets her future told through tarot cards. That future has robots that catch fire when they cry.
Seems like a table vault would have been more dramatic
I will never not cry at these.
I wouldn't have ran around the table.. I would have climb across the table to get to her lol
You clearly haven't met my dad.
War is hell.
As a military member, I’m so tired of these. I hate the attention seeking. Just tell people when you’re coming home. They’ll be excited.
Why do have to comment on the internet? Can’t you just keep your feelings to yourself? seems kinda self involved. Just let people be happy!
No I am not crying. YOU ARE CRYING
Your meme has been stolen
If only she had stayed in the kitchen...
This. This is what a nice kid looks like, guys.
Thank you. ????
The surprise is that the mom is a furry.
I read "deployed mom launches 6th lunch at son.". I was expecting something different
I think that Cougar has a wrong target age range
Ninja onions. They're the worst.
Why don't you surprise us and do your job bitch.
She... she's a cougar...
Interestingly enough, being sprayed by water does work as a deterrent for people into primal pet play.
Seems like a little prick before he realizes it's his mommy
I thought he was running away....you know...embarrassed
Lmao can you imagine meeting your CO at a con? "Nice wolf suit LT! Wow! It's even anatomically correct...ish." :D
Nah you're thinking con room parties for the anatomic details.
I would have jumped over the table.
Oh my god. The collective “aw” and applause from the kids. THESE ARE GOOD CHILDREN, GIVE THEM PIZZA DAYS.
I've... never actually been to one, not really big on fursuits. So, I'm guessing. Still think it would be awkward though. :)
yes, son, it's me. I've been home for a week but this took time to set up.
Fur cons are one big collection of awkward, socially inept folks clustering together until the atmosphere of awkward & BO forms a barrier.
That's very sweet.
Speaking from experience? Or hearsay? I'm just curious, you seem experienced but somewhat negative as well.
I went from the abused dog getting pets post to this...I'm definitely crying. :(
Those 4 month Air Force deployments to Rota, Spain can be harsh.
im not crying, you're cring
He's been raised with discipline.
I wish my mom would have worn a jaguar suit :)
Good kids are allowed to hop tables when they’re mothered come back from deployment
Still waiting for the first of these that doesn't make me tear up. Something like 100+ seen and all got me.
I’m not crying, you’re crying. But She should have thrown his tray on the floor just to fuck with him.
It's Gary The No Trash Cougar!\
Username checks out
I watched again and again...
If George Washington wasn't a mama's boy he would have joined the British Navy.
Fuck you and your onions.
Are you insulting the marines or saying not doing this makes them better? Because either way you look bad.
Damnit you got me again
Why is that funny.
These kratos gifs are the best.
What typo of camo is this? I don't think I've seen it before.
Cat's outta the bag now
God I miss my Mum
At first I thought he was running away in embarrassment, Then he went in for the hug.. Ohhh the feels! damn Onions
You don't really think of it that way. At least I never did. He would just be gone for a bit and then come back after a while...
I was young though. So maybe it's different for teenagers.
She should of kept it on longer. Long enough to watch how his kid acts at school.
It's bad here, too. sniffs*
I really hate these videos 1 parents separated from families for wars that serve no purpose 2 Surprise I'm back, let's get viral w emotions
I really hate these videos 1 parents separated from families for wars that serve no purpose 2 Surprise I'm back, let's get viral w emotions
My dad was in the Army, and a lot of it was "he's just gone for a while" but it was sort of.. normal? I did not grasp the dangers until (1)
(2) I was older and he was retired. He had gone to war and I did not even know of it until I was grown because it was never discussed.
She taught him well to be polite and not climb over tables <3
that got kinky fast
So much good feels here
At first I was hoping she wouldn't take off the mask and this mom was an actual sort of anthropomorphic Mountain Lion.
And now I’m crying like a bitch.
What movie is this from?
Hahaa just like we did in nam
Communism will prevail
mom is a furry
Why the fuck did he go around the table. UP AND OVER!
That’s a weird way to reveal to your kids that you’re a furry.
Deployed? like in the military? that is disgusting, she should be ashamed
i want someone to do a shorter cut, where it stops right before the kid turns around the end of the table...
"Kid discovers mom is a furry, flees in embarrassment!"
I agree with every one of these comments. I woulda elbowed some kid in the face by accident, but I’m jumping that table too.
This hurts. Major respect for deployed moms and dads, no doubt. But all those who have travel for work know - you miss your babies. Fuck.
Your chance of making it home is high. Your chance of making it home a complete stranger are much higher.
Army sounds so gay
If ever I want a good cry. I watch military surprise homecomings.
But the thing is they aren't always public. And even if 100% were public, I'm not gunna assume how someone else should feel about it.
My eyes, they fill with the tears!
the bond between mom and child transcends coolness
these always make me smile
Ha he’s a mommas boy
Better reaction than me. I would have jumped that table and tackled her off the seat
You stop that.
The way I look at tacos...
I love home comming videos to much! The happiness!
We preach the 6-2-1 rule pretty heavily, but esp for the cons in summer, walking around in a couch tends to make you sweat.
To clarify, 6-2-1 is 6 hours of sleep, 2 meals, 1 shower a day.
I mean to hear the Alt-Furry talk Furry might as well be a parliament controlled state with how many people they claim are controlling it.
I feel like I'd want more than the normal number of showers per day if I were wearing a couch, but I guess the cons are pretty busy. How 1/2
many people go to these without a fursuit? Are most people wearing one? 2/2
For people in suit, it's suggested a shower every time you take it off. Largely no, most people don't suit. There is sadly this 1/
prevailing idea that you need to have a suit to be a "real" furry, and there's been heavy backlash against that idea for obvious reasons 2/
as even partials (Head, hand and sometimes feet paws, arm sleeves and tails) can cost usually around $200 at the very low end. Full suits 3/
the kind that look like mascot outfits, are at minimum $1000 on the exceedingly cheap end. That said, I think the last ratio I heard 4/
for average con attendance of suiter to non-suiter was something like 30%-ish? You get more and more people as time goes on, but there's 5/
Still a pretty high cost of entry barrier to suiting. Most people will at least have some kind of paraphernalia like ear headbands or 6/
tails, but you also get people who don't dress in any special way. Hell, the last time I was at Anthrocon I saw someone dressed up as 7/
GLaDOS and another guy who called himself "The Wizard of the Coast" bc his costume pulled from various TCG games owned by WotC. 8/
Furry attracts all kinds of people. We're honestly a fairly diverse crowd! 9/9
See, I'd be kind of interested in going to one, just to meet people. But I have zero interest in wearing any kind of costume at all. It's 1/
just not my thing. Even for Halloween I tend to go for basic costumes that aren't really costumes and instead make some kind of joke. 2/2
(to be clear I'm not criticizing people who do wear them, it's just not my style, is all)
You don't have to wear a costume if you don't want. Plenty of people just walk around in plain clothes. Personally I have ears and a tail 1/
and that's it, but you don't even need that if you don't want. Honestly I'd say go for it. If you can get to one of the bigger cons 2/
that'd probably be better, as you have a wider variety of things to choose from in terms of panels. Like at Anthrocon this year they're 3/
doing a mock trial as a panel with actual lawyers running it. Or you get music shows, comedy events, bad fanfiction reading, all sorts 4/
of things. One year someone did a workshop on making chainmail. There's stuff for everyone to find some enjoyment out of it. 5/5
Nothing to be afraid of, you can defeat them by just playing the howling scene from zootopia on loop.
Such a nice boy. Ran around the tables instead of jumping over them too.
1/ after WW2 95% of the time, war are just about money / protecting resources oversea but never to help peoples. I'm not blaming soldiers
2/ for this, I'm just saying that our war culture is a cancer and that we can make so much better with all those peoples (soldiers)
3/ and fuckton of money (war is the most extensive thing in the US maybe, even if veterans are not helped once they have been used)
I can’t watch compilations of these because I’ll bawl my eyes out
I don't think he really cared. worth it for sure
I really need to start reading usernames, goddamnit sir
He was being a smart ass, then shit!!!! It's mom!!!!
..Lunch? That's an apple and a piece of paper.
This post got something in my eye...
i Needed more...
Instead he runs around the long way haha. I think is brain just locked up when the mask came off.
Marines families are informed of their returning as soon as the boots leave the theater. It isnt kept a mystery like in other branches
plus Marines cannot wear their Marpat out around civilians. Also by the time they get released, they just go to bed cuz of the long trip.
It would be interesting if our societies was more in line with that of the bonobos. But in a world with need and greed, that's not feasible.
Oh god damn it! Spent all of last night reading through your comments after being tricked once to lear how to spot you. But it all failed
There is a trick tho. Look how ALL my comments start. 1) I pick a "trending" post, 2) I reply to the top comment or I start 1/2
Please tell me, Did I bamboolzed you again in this one? 2/2
These damn allergies in my eyes
Mom raised him right
Surprised the kid didn't just jump over the table.
As a man, I just find it funny. Does that make me a bad person?
They don’t have the right to film it despite deliberately choosing the most public possible reveal? Come on now.
Some peoples force the greed way of life to all the others peoples. We are not born this way.
I disagree. I think we are born greedy (anyone who has ever had a child can easily attest to that), and some people learn to control it.
1/If a child is greedy it's because a lack of confidence, probably because a lack of love. When I was a littler kid, one of my pleasure
2/ was to give stuff to peoples who have no stuff, you know compassion and shit, plus be good to other peoples allow you to feel good.
3/ So I totally disagree, you believe we are born this way, so you will transmit this idea to your kid, but it's in your mind, not a fact.
That is something you as a kid learned. Babies by nature demands food and attention whenever they want, and as much as they can.
Babies as they transition into children also attempt to lie about things they done to avoid repercussion. Especially if they have siblings.
It is when we as adult impose limitations on them that they learn to control it. And if you don't impose it well, they will continue.
Yes but, if you make feel the secure about the fact there is enough food for everyone, they will show love. We aren't apes anymore you see..
Then that is a learned discipline... Well, we are hominoids, which is the same monophyletic class as the other great apes.
Yeah but I don't climb three to get my food or trow my shit at peoples or believe in greed as a natural thing, sorry
All great apes act differently, I don't know why you're equivocating them as all being the same. Apes are capable of compassion as well.
Are you one of those people who think humans have transcended being animals? Or even worse: never were animals?
No I'm just one of those human who wants to human.
And you think I'm not for not having the same beliefs as you?
Well you believe we still throw shit
Figuratively we still do - and you just did at me by not calling me human. You can also find videos of people throwing actual shit at people
But anyways this will be my last post to you. I don't think you're educated enough to talk about this topic, and you are pretty rude. So bye
