I've spent more time than I care to admit on Youtube watching candy be made.
Not a bad way to die eating that entire tube
It's not for dogs is it?
How much would you admit to?
Probably 20ish hours. Some of the videos are really long!
Are they made with real Akita dog?
That would be cannibalism...
My thoughts exactly.
You’re not alone
ur not alone :)
I would say Shiba inu tho, still cute!
Sandra Lee has had my devotion. You're ok.
I always fond stuff like this really impressive bit I just want to eat them more
Are these hard candy or soft?
Hard candy. Kind of reminds me of old school Christmas candy.
Try it dude it's fun and you can do experimental shit
I want to watch, but the weird broken link is distracting meeeeee
Of course they are you hilarious stand up comidienne you.
Does it really need 3 humans working on this?
Rock candy is what I'd call it
I thought dogs are going to be fed theese
In the UK they sell it at the beach and it is called Rock.
More like the seaside rather than the beach itself
There's exactly 3 foot of difference where I live.
how the fuck do you upload gifs that long on imgur?
At least 12.
We all did, dude. We all did.
Working with sugar is all about precision and speed, so yeah.
you can probably do it with one person, its gonna be a shit job and you will have to redo it with two others, but you can try.
Man that knife must be super sharp.
The dog better appreciate it.
*slaps candybar* this bad boy can fit so much fucking dog candies in it
Oh... oh no...
You can really taste the Akita
You mean a korean burrito?
That's so much work for a candy that looks like it tastes like condoms feel.
whats the unmangled link?
Is there instagram for this!?
How could you mess up the link that badly?
How come most Asians seem to be working more efficiently than machines could do? Seriously their skills are impressive!
It can be an Akita Inu
Akita Inu also looks a lot like the shiba
So you could say 1 meter?
Akita Inu looks much the same but it a larger breed
Same (lofty pursuits) and the thing is- I never actually eat hard candy....
I want to know how high that person was before they decided to make the schematic, that when properly rolled, would look like a dog.
Thank you for the close up they left out!
I get it. The process is entrancing. Especially the ones like this with the images.
how about dickbutt
I need this in my life
I just want to know where I can buy it
Love how you knew what you had to do, and just droped the image without a comment :D +1
no matter what it is you do, there is a Japanese person who does it better.
These remind me more of a shibe then an akita.
Looks more like Shiba than akita
Came down here in search for exactly this comment
If you do ever eat hard candy, try theirs. It's really good. I had some tesla over mars candy tonight.
I love Lofty Pursuits videos, and their candy is good too
I know enough about candy to tell you that all candy with pictures in them are either amazing or the blandest thing ever, no in between.
Ummmmm that’s a Shiba
I’m stoned and it took me till the very end to realize this isn’t candy for Akitas..
They flavored these ones to be tangerine.
seriously, are japanese the weirdest people in the world? I think so
I... didn't even think of that... I honestly thought "what kind of candy you really want to give a dog"... Sigh. Need more coffee.
Once hardened it's just a tube of solid rock candy.
This candy shop is Canadian.
The candy and candy shop in this gif are Canadian.
So. Much. Sugar.
Shiba Inu not Akita
So is this "dog candy" candy for dogs or is it regular candy with dogs on it?
These came out really well
I wonder how many african farmers lost their land to grow that sugar.
That's a shiba inu
Basically that is what happens to you, when you are sucked to a black hole.
I am horribly addicted to watching epoxy flooring videos. So mesmerizing.
not a bad way to die
All that for a little pussy.
Colour me impressed!
Also, got 99 centimeters but an inch ain't one.
How many Rocks are there in a Stone?
Aaaand this is what I'll now be doing for the next hour
Went to a candy making shop in tokyo, if these are japanese they're gonna be a flavour sensation.
I could. If I were some sort of metric loving hippy :p
kinda looks like firefox
Just like semiconductor wafers are made, more or less..
A dancing toasted marshmallow.
why do they dance are they happy or is it nervous energy?
No, like nothing.
Made with real Akita
Super cool to watch!!! More please
I thought they were making a single serving.
Not an Akita
Thousands of years of human culture has lead us to some amazing innovations that allow us to bring our imaginations to life.
You have to appreciate the mind of someone able to imagine this and make it become real.
Who tf downvoted this?
Could be a Shiba too.
We used to use this method to make beads out of Fimo clay.
Weird how you can make stuff smaller just by tugging on it.
Food episodes are my favorite How it's made episodes.
They look so cute... *tastes one* It takes like sweetened plastic!
I thought the UK adopted the metric system decades ago. :D
I can only speak for myself but I was raised on a strange mix of metric and imperial. I can work in both cm and inches, but can't (1/4)
Accurately judge a meter, and don't know my height or weight in metric, only imperial. Similarly while I know my weight in stone and (2/4)
Pounds, I don't know how to convert it entirely into pounds, and I weigh food and such in metric grams and kilograms. I measure liquid (3/4)
In both litres and pints. Essentially, it's a mess because we didn't swap over smoothly at the time I was educated. (4/4)
Great link you posted there.
Like nothing at all?
As cute as they are, I have to admit that the candies I've had like this don't actually taste good.
I read the headline as though they were making candy for an Akita. I’m tired. I’m also an idiot.
Have you checked out the Bon Apetit channel where they try to reproduce candy without using additives? A lot of fun too.
Please note, you shouldn't give Akita Dog Candy to Akita Dogs.
"Hi im Marc Summers and man am I about to blow your mind."
The fact that the stretching and cutting isn't machined makes me happy
Um is that the sequel to boruto
An hour later after going down a candy making rabbit hole...
Mmmm, glove flavored...
They're very excitable, could easily be both.
This is CandyLabs in montreal! They taste delicious too.
Candy for dogs.
I could listen to that guy read the phone book. He has a great speaking voice.
what taste does it have?
OH geez, they make it tiny by hand instead of using an extruder?
Only hard candy I like is Werthers.
Why isn't a machine doing it?
I can only assume the two people downvoting my comment dont know what a Shiba Inu is.
