Well Yeah, if they didn't, they'd had to have gone thirsty and the war would probably have been canceled. Nobody wars thirsty dude.
They had so many foreign divisions it's kinda weird. Like 5th SS panzer division Wiking which consisted of Scandinavian volunteers. Funny.
