Did he clean it up in the meantime?
Am I the only one that felt bad for Kevin in this scene?
No, we'll get someone to clean that up for you
I hated that...god I wanted his chili..
I felt bad for Kevin in most scenes
I looked like a crazy person. Laughing out loud with sadness and pre-tears in my eyes.
My wife really felt bad for him because it was the one thing that he did right, and that he was proud of. I thought it was hilarious.
Saddest scene in the whole series
He could also do pie math perfectly. I found it hilarious too. Thought about it in church and started giggling without stop.
WE THE ONES GOTTA CLEAN THAT UP
I felt bad for the cleaning lady; she probably scrubbed it into the fibers of the carpet.
Essentially the same thing happened to me at work last week with an 8 quart container of Bloody Mary mix
Watched this episode last night.
"I'm serious about this stuff." - Kevin Malone
No, it's pretty sad
Scenes like this are why I can’t enjoy the Office. I get why some people like it though.
I can see that. I loved The Office but I always cringed at Michael whenever he’d get stuck in an awkward or uncomfortable situation.
I would have thought most people did. I was hoping for him to get praises about his passionate chili, even if that had no comedic value.
That character grosses me out.. but great acting! Got to see him in something else acting normal and it was nice.
I feel like thats what made the show good. Definitely not everyone's favorite. But I always enjoyed awkward comedy.
Working at a daycare must be tough
I mean I enjoy awkward comedy too, like Dwight was one of my favorites, Dwight and Jim’s banter was what made the show for me.
Well no, you were supposed to feel bad for him
That episode aired on April 30, 2009. Not May 16/17
Except that he was never supposed to be an accountant, he applied for a warehouse job, and Michael made him an account for reasons that
really only make sense to Michael.
Me too. I want to feel physically uncomfortable.
The trick is to undercook the onions, everybody is going to get to know each other in the pot.
I've never quite been able to like Mr Bean because of the sad endings.
Not fake context. I'll try to find the episode, but Michael says that Kevin applied to work in the warehouse, but Michael gave him an
accounting job because he "saw potential in him". And knowing Michael, that meant Kevin laughed at his jokes.
It doesn't busy the theory wide open, but it makes it a little less open-shut.
Yeah, in those cases I just try to enjoy the journey. Thankfully, a lot of them get happier, or at least less sad.
But it's actually true, there is a scene where Micheal tells him " I didn't see a warehouse worker, I saw an accountant".
Season 6, episode 12. Michael, talking to Erin: “You know when I hired Kevin, he was actually applying for a job in the warehouse? Yea, but
I had a feeling about him. I have a feeling about you."
If anyone's curious, deleted scenes show how Kevin "bought" the bar. After the documentary, so many people wanted to buy him drinks... 1/2
Odd thing to do, apply to the warehouse if you plan to embezzle a company.
...despite him rarely drinking that he had a huge amount of credit. It was cheaper to just give him a large share of the bar. 2/2
Touched by Jesus
I made this! It was delicious =)
i read that in his voice
That's one way to say you're into Scat
yup. you're the only one. in the world. out of anyone who's watched the office. only one. last of your kind.
The trick is to undercook the onions
just once I'd like to keep the lentils off the floor
Am I the only person that thinks the office is completely un-funny?
Upvote for awareness
So I rewatched The office from season 4 to the end about two weeks ago. What is with all the Kevin Malone love all of a sudden?
Not as much as I felt bad for Toby
Why can you not watch it anywhere online?! They took it off Netflix and Amazon prime!
Season 5 episode 26 if anyone was wondering
Up there with that scene in office space where that guy doesn't get any cake
"it's the only thing I'm good at".
It's still on Netflix
I made it myself, and it was delicious.
pretty much any question starting with "am i the only one..." is a clear NO YOURE NOT
Undercook the onions.
I’ve been wanting to try it.
