Gonna post this without a source?
RETURN THE SLABBBBbbbb! “What’s yer offer!?”
Nowhere, NM is right outside Holloman AFB and NASA's White Sands Test Facility. There are numerous monsters said to have lived there.
password the same size llldz
todaysfive.com/2017/11/25/was-courage-the-cowardly-dog-based-on-a-true-story/ Same picture so I'm guessing that's the source.
That episode played at the beginning of my VHS tape of Scooby doo and the alien invaders. Straight up nightmare fuel
Yes! Watched that so many times growing up! Was pretty freaky. I always found it strange that nobody cared about ACTUAL aliens though.
You're not perfect
You could pay me to live in that place, too much weird and scary crap happens.
THE MAN IN GAUZE! THE MAN IN GAUZE!
I really hope this is true
Skin walkers are no damn joke. That stuff terrifies me.
I guess they did their research.
Seriously. Dresden Files has them as, hands down, one of the most horrific, evil, cruel beings native to our universe. So horrible, in fact-
In all fairness, it's New Mexico we're talking about; place is like a dryer, less fun, and more beige version of Kansas
Seven of them are kept in the upper most level of a magical super-ultra-mega max prison. A prison that houses gods and demons in lower level
Who you gonna call? Injun Joe.
If you see the Skinwalker, the Skinwalker sees you
What creeps me out it's the navajos reaction when you ask them. They become all mafia like "No. They don't exist. Never heard about that."
That being said, there are still sites and resources on how to behave around a New Mexico skinwalker should you encounter one. Lololol
Seriously. I love courage, but that episode fuckin haunted my young dreams for months if not years
Courage, my word. It didn't come, it doesn't matter. Courage, your word. It couldn't come at a worse time
Not gonna bind ya or break ya, old spirit.Just gonna kick your ass up between your ears.
I totally agree. So many nightmares because of that episode.
Anyone remember the PC game "Treehouse"? Bongo bot, in the middle of nowhere, on moon Miranda!
I don't remember the slab episode but I DO. Remember that floating fucking head
They disappeared because they had been very Nnnnnnaaaaauuuugggghty
Everything I know about Kansas is from Wizard of Oz but NM has mountains, canyons, four state viewpoints, hot springs, and mythical beings.
I drove from Georgia to California. I KNOW skinwalkers are real. Won't catch me driving through New Mexico at night again.
i mean someone probably could
Skinwalkers, eh? I wouldn't worry about it.
I wouldn't worry about it.
Easy for you to say, you’re already mad... mike...
Do you remember the episode when they go to the future ruled by bananas?
... not off the top of my head
I have Questions...........
How many times can you ask if courage the cowardly dog was based on a true story in one article?
But he just wanted to be naaaauuuughty.
"You're not perfect."
todaysfive.com/2017/11/25/was-courage-the-cowardly-dog-based-on-a-true-story/. For the possible breakdown. 2/2
Courage is actually based on the dogs perspective. How outside of his yard is scary and suspicious just like the people who come to visit
HE AIN'T NO SANTA CLAUS!
Well, I don't know... I never saw a Supernatural episode about.
no hot source
Well? We're waiting!
I counted eight.
Please tell your stories!!
TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M.
Why would you say that and not provide stories. THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME.
Mick Foley is from there.
Question. What makes them so scary?
I drove from Louisiana to California through New Mexico. Their roads do suck in many parts.
if you, you know, go to the mountains? valley and most of even mote southern nm is just sand and flat
For the curious, the consensus is to leave it alone and try to distance yourself and above all dont talk to it
And then when you get to know them, you start hearing the *fun* stories.
That was a good read, gonna re watch this spooky show
Too late, you have to live there now
I have never heard of this. DO explain please!
Well I lived at 7k ft. There were higher points in many directions and hours of scenery. It is a big state.
Per that article it was a dude luring in people so he could murder them. So yeah, don't talk to it, cause it gonna murda ya.
Actually its in Kansas, shown throughout the series many times.
explain the talking computer, banana people, house being consumed by locust, and googling from a dogs perspective?
Why is delusional superstition so often up voted here? It's depressing.
What is a skin walker?
Basically a witch that can take animal form. Very evil, they move incredibly fast and the stories are just creepy af
Okay i don't get it. Why was the dog cowardly?
Did you just link me to your comment on this same post?
Yeah, so I don't farm upvotes.
My mother and I drove through the desert at night. We were told by a local gas station employee to stay the night and wait till sunrise.
My mother being the hardheaded cheap woman she is trucked on. When we were in the middle of it. No lights, no buildings nearby.
We saw some dark figure running up ahead of us and then dart out of the headlights. It's so dark we can't see much except what they light up
My mom started panting and I kind of just sat there looking at the rear view mirror, not like there was enough light to see anything.
Then a mile or two of silence passed and my mom finally broke the silence and simple said 'we need to pull over at the next town.
It was about a good half hour left. But then all of a sudden my mom yelped and sped up. I hadn't noticed she was darting her eyes from
Mirror to mirror. That's when I saw it standing
It was tall, lanky and ran too fast to be human. Let alone that it was somehow keeping up with a car going 70mph.
