treat her well, love her, thats all it needs. and congratulations, you got adopted. :)
Very cute kitten.
"I rescued her directly into the white void. fear not small one. you are eternal now"
I demand updates good person. And a GIF of her playing/ talking would do.
She did a Gandalf
One of her yawning or stretching after a nap would do I think. I’m on it
Go to the Kitten Lady page on YouTube, she has lots of videos explaining how to care for kittens. 1/2
Aida is her name !!
We rescued day old, dumpster kitties. We call them our trash kitties, but shots are most important, we had to bottle feed ours but they went
After wet food mixed with dry kitten food at about 4 and 1/2 weeks to 5 weeks. Looks like you got lucky! Regular vet visits for the first
No advice, but oh my god that fuzzy little belly!!! So happy you found each other. Just give her love and food and she’ll be just perfect.
I might be a dead-eyed, cold-hearted monarchist, but still this made my mouth twitch abit upwards. upvoted.
Sounds like you got everything covered. Go you o/
Bring some poo with you when you go to the vet. And she'll need a friend, so rescue about 6 more....
We sometimes get day old kittens dumped at the shelter, we put them with pregnant mothers or mothers that have just had their own litter
Most of the time they seem to take care of them and we get quite good results, but when the mothers don’t take them in it is tragic
Yes! Was about to comment this exact same thing. She's super informative and very clear on the what/why on kittens.
Tfw you know that the kitten is the one training YOU to understand all her cues.
Zip lock bag of poo should do... let’s hope there isn’t a police check on the way
Good job! Yes! I found a kitten this small out in the country in the winter, no clue how she survived but she’s my big, strong hunter now!
Hoping she goes up big and strong with you :)
Start touching her feet/toepads casually so when you clip her nails it's no biggie for you/or the vet.
Same with opening her mouth/running your finger along the gumline. Good oral care is one key to help giving her a healthy life :3
She found her forever human!!! You are wonderful!!
How the shit do get an age estimation down to the HALF WEEK of a randomly found animal? Is there like an actual method for this?
This is one of those times I really wish I could upvote more than just once. Good on you.
Those ears! She’ll never be able to hide behind a box and sneak a peek over it! Her ears will show up 5 minutes before her face.
This. My dog is a rescue and acts like the nail clipper is a medieval torture device
There’s pretty accurate descriptions online for each week of kitten development. I estimate 3.5 because she kinda fit both 3 and 4 weeks
Cute lil furball.
Having a bad day. This made me smile a bit. You get an upvote.
Just live her and listen to your vet. Our cats average 19 years so treat them well
Cute little thing!
You are really great and the kitten is really beautiful! What I think is important to little ones to not play with them with anger or make..
..them play agressively. It led to stressful behaviour. Also when my cat do sg wrong , I make a snap sound which distract them and they ...
..can learn what should they live alone (plants, furniture, table etc.) There isn't bigger punishment. Wish you a lot of happiness together!
Food. She also needs food.
Wooow that is a cute litlle fela.
Rescued a litter of 5 last December. Very young, so hand feeding for a while. Have adopted out most of them to patients at work, kept 2.
I think you can lump that into "treat her well"
toepads? on this webzone?
Aida? I've watched enough Agents of Shield to know that won't end well...
Is always a good day when cats adopt humans.
Aida. Is a lucky girl! Worm her soon. Scoop away litter is the best. Beyond food is the best. Ty. For taking her in. Really!! ;)
You are a good person. Kitten will rule your home soon
I love cats.
when it comes to training i found the most effective way was to lightly boop the snoot. they usually don't like their nose to be touched (1)
so a light tap with a 'no' got them trained real quick. i had a cat that sat next to my cereal bowl and wouldn't touch it as long as the (2)
spoon was in the bowl. the moment i put the spoon on the table he knew he could drink the milk. never had to yell or hit them (end)
Should've named her Annie, for double the puns
She will train you; it has already begun ...
That's awesome that you did that. Well done.
Thank you for saving her life.
and lots of toys. Get a good variety of toys. Also, if you use a laser pointer, make sure you end with real toys so they get the closure 1/
of actually catching something. If not, it can lead to neurological issues.
The level of high-pitched squeals I let out seeing this is unmeasurable by any human technology.
"If anyone has advice on taking care of kittens this young ..." yah...you got this one, and you're a solid af human being +1
You mean WE rescued an orphan kitten
I’d constantly ask her if she was okay Incase she got hit by.... Incase she got struck by.... something like HPV
I've come across talking cats before, but I have more experience with teaching dogs to talk.
Вы - молодец
I rescued a kitty this young. He wouldn't cover his poop when he went to the litter box. So to reach him I would put on a glove and flick 1/
The kitty litter over it. He caught on right away. Made the house smell less of kitty poop. 1/2 @op
Scrambled eggs makes a good first solid food.
